To enjoy the warm summer weather, we had a nice BBQ at a member’s house. The evening started with refreshing drinks and snacks before we fired up the grill. As everyone brought something to share, the food was as international as our club!

Our member Timo went to the Rotary International Convention in Melbourne, Australia, last week. With more than 15,000 people filling the whole Rod Laver Arena, where the Australian Open take place, it has been a stunning experience.
Two of our members spent a weekend in Milan, Italy, for this year’s Rotaract European Conference (EUCO). During the conference, over 500 Rotaractors from all over Europe came together to connect, discuss, do social projects, learn new things and have unforgettable parties.
At the beginning of May, our president Martin had the opportunity to engage with the Rotaract Club Córdoba Catedral, La Cañada, in Argentina.
In April, Jacqueline Flory gave a talk about Zeltschule e.V. which is a non-profit association based in Munich. This organization supports Syrian refugees by running schools in tents for children in Lebanon and Syria.
It has become a good tradition, that there are framed tiles at the art auction. Every year, the tiles show one of Munich’s sights (or from Munich’s surroundings)…

Last week’s „Rotary meets Rotaract“ event was a great success. A lot of members of the Rotarian family attented the event and could get to know each other and establish new contacts.
The evening started with some drinks and small talk in the great location „Residenzcafe“. Afterwards the event’s organizers hold a speech and introduced „Rotaract“.
