Together with a munich-based Innerwheel Club, we took part in the largest flea market in Bavaria at Theresienwiese! The day started quite early at 5am. Two of our members started the first shift when they drove to Theresienwiese, chose a nice spot and set up the stand. In the early hours, a lot of professional shoppers and connaisseurs came to secure the best things.
Later, more and more families, groups of friends and interested people stopped by the flea market to look around and have a nice day. We had a lot of fun negotiating prices and selling all kinds of stuff – from VHS over scarves to little statues – everything one can think of was there.
All in all, it was a very fun and successful day! We could make some money which we will use for future social projects and events of our club. A big thank you to Francesca who organized the event and was there the whole day despite cold and rainy weather! We also thank everyone who was involved on that day!
