Dear members, guests and friends,
please feel warmly welcome to join our meeting with the interesting topic “Leonhard – Entrepreneurship for prisoners”.
Tina Mendzigall-Lange will give us great insights into this business and how to give people in jail another great chance to implement their own business!
Here are some more information about it:
LEONHARD – Entrepreneurship for prisoners
“And what are you up to? I was in jail for two years and would now like to open my own IT consultancy in Munich”
This statement may sound strange but anyone who knows the LEONHARD program knows that prisoners have a good chance of re-integrating themselves into society or into professional life. With the LEONHARD program former inmates will not only hold promising prospects for the future, but also a proven business plan at the end of the penalty time.
As a non-profit company, LEONHARD makes prisoners fit for professional life. The opportunity to find a good job after the prison or even start your own business is a top priority. The program enables prisoners to gain further economic training so that they can build a prospering futures.
In a 20 week course program prisoners receive social and economic training to run a business but also develop their personally. The ultimate goal is to write a business plan with their idea and leave prison with a clear goal in mind.
Several external events invite supporters of the program to join the prisoners in jail (e.g. as business plan consultants sales trainers or mentors).
