On monday, 3rd of july, we had the great pleasure to join and support the change of guard-event of RC Munich International and birthday of Past-president Thomas Eilfort. In-between serving the absolutely amazing self-prepared menu of RC members, we had a lot of fun to interact with our partner club. We also say a big thank you for the great support you’ve raised for us! To you, Thomas Eilfort and your incoming president Sibille Vinzenz all the best!

This weekend, we had the great pleasure to celebrate our friends 25th anniversary! Happy Birthday, RAC München Residenz and thank you so much for this special and astonishing night!
To our new RAC Deutschland Vorsitzenden Jan Ilzig: We wish you all the best for the upcoming year! Make a difference!
Last week, we enjoyed a fantastic tour at Bayerischer Rundfunk through the studios of Bayern 1, Bayern 3 and much more. We even got to speak to Bayern 3 presenter Sebastian Schaffstein and listen to a live moderation!
We ended the beautiful summer evening with drinks&food at a relaxed get-together at Augustiner-Keller beergarden.
Looking forward to seeing you soon again!
Last thursday we had the great pleasure to visit the Peter Lindbergh photography exhibition at the Hypovereinsbank Kunsthalle.
Thanks to our new president, Marina Bassilious, we enjoyed a guided tour and thereby got insig
hts into Peter Lindbergh’s intention of photography.
We are looking forward to have more of such great spontaneous events!
April 22nd and we did it again :-). RAC München Bavaria and RAC Munich International had their annual Speed dating event, to connect the hearts of the Rotaracters and to collect money for two great projects. This year we collected 1000 Euro which will be donated to two different NGOs. The first NGO to receive the donation will be “Recycle up Ghana”, which helps young people and students to increase their awareness about plastics and rubbish which will hopefully change their mindset about recycling in general. In Ghana and other parts of Africa, they don’t use waterbottels for drinking, they use plastic bags, which has a disastrous environmental effect on land and sea. ”Recycle up Ghana” teaches students to collect those bags and recycle them into useful everyday items that the local community could benefit from. The second NGO is a local Organisation in Munich, which kindly offered us the use of their rooms for our Speed dating event. The “Offene Behindertenarbeit (OBA)” is a team of social workers, interns, paid and honorary staff, who organise events and activities for abled and disabled bodied people to take part in. A total of 22 women and 22 men participated in this event.
Thanks a lot!! 🙂
Our last week’s meeting was a great pleasure and a change on traditional lecture-meetings: Our past-president Julian again enriched our club’s meetings with a wine-tasting, which wasn’t only for oenophiles.
Thanks to Family Stolleis who owns a vineyard in the Pfalz, Julian was able to present one typical Prosecco, an Auxerois, one Sauvignon blanc, two Rieslings and a Spätburgunder. All of them were a pleasure to taste and we hope, you enjoyed it as much as we did.
Here are some beautiful impressions of this extraordinary meeting:
Dear members and friends of Rotaract Club Munich International,
In the week of November 11th 2016, we supported and faciliated another successfull charity art auction to the benefit of the Orlandus Lassus Stiftung, the Rotary for Hauner Initiative, the Kunstlinge Project and the social projects of our Rotaract Club Munich-International.
More than 20 active Rotaractors and friends of our club supported hands-on with hanging up the art work, packing the pictures, making and offering pralinés, serving wine and food at the preview and the art auction to contribute to the success of last Friday evening!
We want to express our deep gratitude to all helpers – without you it wouldn’t have been possible! Thank you all and see you soon!

We formally began our new year with an extraordinary and absolutely stunning guided tour through the BMW Production Site.
Also to those who have been there several times already, seeing those machines and immense logistic effort in producing a simple car is always a new experience and impression. Thanks to our guide (who was actually a doctor!) we had the huge privilege to visit the engine production side as well. Boys and Girls enjoyed it equally!
Thank you for joining our Beergarden Meeting in Mid-August! It was a great evening and we were thrilled by how many Rotaractors, Rotarians and friends came to enjoy this summer evening with us! We are very happy about the fruitful exchange of ideas for events and collaborations in the future. We hope to see you again soon!
Thank you also to Omar and Nur, two lebanese guests for joining! We are looking forward to set up a project with you!
